What does the fee cover?

The ongoing platform fee contributes toward handling online orders and maintaining the ordering service as it is used. It applies to Grow and Thrive website and app orders, in addition to setup and monthly service. Unrelated physical-register sales do not incur it. Flow and Own your app have no platform ordering fee.

This example shows our platform fee only. We confirm the calculation basis, treatment of tax and tips, refund policy, and billing arrangement before launch. The $1 cap does not cap your payment provider's fees.

Your free web address

The included address is a subdomain of our platform, rather than a separately registered domain. It stays with our service and cannot be transferred to another registrar.

Connecting a domain you own

You keep your domain in your own registrar account; registration and renewal fees remain your responsibility. You do not need to move it to us. If you already have a website, we can connect a subdomain such as order.morningcup.com for your ordering site.

Support for a domain in your own account

If you keep your domain in your own GoDaddy or other registrar account, you are responsible for that provider's service. For example, if their DNS service has an outage, your domain expires, or your account is locked, you need to contact their support team to resolve it. We do not own or control that account and cannot fix an outage in their systems.

If you would like us to call or coordinate with your provider on your behalf, that is an additional paid service, separate from your website plan. We confirm the fee with you before starting, and you may need to authorize us to speak with them. Issues with the website hosting we provide should still be reported to us. A registrar outage does not always affect your website; it depends on which service is affected and where your DNS is hosted.

What the $50 yearly fee covers

The fee covers a standard domain's registration or renewal, DNS management, and its connection to your website. It is separate from your monthly website plan. We manage the domain on your behalf, with your business recorded as the registrant. Premium names or unusually priced extensions are quoted separately before purchase.

Your domain can move with you

If you cancel and want your managed custom domain transferred to your own GoDaddy account or another registrar, our transfer assistance is free. You only pay applicable provider transfer, renewal, or outstanding AWS/DNS charges. We confirm those costs first; both providers do not necessarily charge a transfer fee.

Transfers follow registrar eligibility rules, waiting periods, and transfer locks. When eligible, we help unlock your domain and provide the required authorization details. Transferring the domain registration does not include website hosting or email migration; those are separate arrangements.

Square features require a compatible merchant account and any required provider subscriptions. “No order limit” means no plan-imposed count limit; service quotas and usage terms still apply. Notification features depend on customer permission and platform support.

Which plan should I choose?

Choose Flow for a mobile-friendly ordering website that customers can open from a link or QR code without downloading an app. Choose Grow for a branded mobile app and the full standard toolkit, including Square connections, promotions, loyalty, and customer engagement. Choose Thrive when you need a central view and coordinated management across locations.

How are the plans priced?

Flow starts at $59 with no platform ordering fee. Grow is $99 and Thrive starts at $199 per month per location, each with a 1% ordering fee capped at $1 per order. For example, two Grow locations have a $198 monthly service charge. Required setup, the Grow/Thrive 1% ordering fee capped at $1 per order, payment processing, and optional add-ons are additional. Starting prices are confirmed against your scope before launch.

Are AI and customer memberships included?

They are optional extras on the Add-ons page. Each base plan can be combined with a subscription bundle or an AI assistant. RAG includes the assistant and replaces the basic AI option, so you do not pay both AI fees.

What does Thrive add to Grow?

Thrive adds a central dashboard, consolidated reporting, location-specific staff permissions, and coordinated menu and promotion updates across your business. Its starting price is per location; we confirm the rollout scope and integrations with you.

Do I need to buy a domain?

No. A free hosted subdomain, such as morningcup.serverless-samurai.com, is included while your plan is active. You can instead connect a domain you own through GoDaddy or another registrar, or pay $50 per year for us to register, renew, and manage a standard custom domain on your behalf. A managed custom domain belongs to your business; our hosted subdomain belongs to our platform.

Can I keep my managed domain if I cancel?

Yes. Your business owns its managed custom domain. We provide transfer assistance free of charge when you move it to your own registrar account. You pay only applicable provider charges, such as the receiving registrar’s transfer or renewal fee and any outstanding AWS/DNS costs. We confirm those charges first. Transfer locks and registrar waiting periods may apply. A free platform subdomain cannot be transferred.

Why is setup separate from my monthly plan?

Your plan defines the features and ongoing service. Your one-time launch quote covers the work specific to your business: branding, menu and account configuration, supported connections, testing, publishing, and training. We use a reusable platform for standard features, then prepare it for your business. The quote is based on that work, not a small, medium, or large business label. Monthly service continues separately. Grow and Thrive also have a 1% ordering fee capped at $1; Flow has no platform ordering fee.

Can you help with a workflow beyond the standard features?

Yes. We can assess a specific problem, demonstrate a proposed approach, and quote feasible custom design, integrations, or automation separately. For example, a catering request and approval workflow could reduce manual copying between email and spreadsheets. Custom work is agreed in writing and does not automatically come with a higher monthly plan. We define an outcome to measure rather than promise sales or savings.
