What exactly do I own?
After agreed payments and handover, you own the delivered application code and project deliverables under the project agreement. You can modify, extend, deploy, and appoint any developer to maintain them without a managed-platform subscription to us.
Handover includes the scoped website and/or mobile app source, backend code, custom design deliverables, build instructions, and Amplify Gen 2 and AWS infrastructure configuration where used. Your business controls its data and account access.
Third-party libraries, fonts, and services retain their own licenses. These are identified in the handover; owning your application does not transfer ownership of AWS or other third-party products.
What does the $5,000–$30,000 estimate include?
This is an approximate planning range, not a fixed quote or price cap. Consultation establishes platforms, features, design, integrations, revisions, acceptance criteria, and payment milestones. It does not automatically include every feature of Flow, Grow, or Thrive.
The agreed price covers your scoped build, testing, deployment, and handover. Provider charges and future work are separate. App-store submissions are included where agreed; approval is controlled by Apple and Google.
What happens after launch?
You or your chosen team manages provider bills, monitoring, backups, security updates, and maintenance. The project agreement defines launch support and the defect-resolution period. Hire us for optional maintenance or changes, or give another developer access through your own accounts.
How is this different from a managed plan?
Flow, Grow, and Thrive include an agreed managed service with a setup quote and monthly subscription. Grow and Thrive also have a 1% ordering fee capped at $1; Flow has no platform ordering fee. Own your app is a separate project purchase with full source handover and client-controlled infrastructure. You arrange ongoing operations and pay provider bills directly.
